Rodney Residents Asked to Identify Priorities for the Future

Rodney District Council is asking local residents for feedback on a range of service areas and to help identify priorities for the future.

Each year, the Council needs to measure customer satisfaction with a range of services to help monitor how well we are meeting the objectives set within the Long Term Plan.

This year’s Annual Residents Survey also includes questions that will help understand what attracts people to live in Rodney and what they feel is in most need of improvement.

"As we move towards the new Auckland Council, it's really important that we can provide good information about the needs and priorities of Rodney's communities," says Carol Hayward, the Council's Research Manager.

"We're keen to hear back from as many people as possible so that we can feel confident that we have a good cross-section of Rodney's communities represented within the survey."

The survey is being sent out this week to a random sample of around 3,000 Rodney households to complete by the end of August. The results of the survey will be used to inform the new Auckland Council and the local boards about the views and expectations of Rodney residents.
